The summer months = iced coffee and smoothies for me. So why not combined the two into a delicious summery breakfast bowl? This smoothie bowl is definitely something out of the ordinary but still so delicious. The bitterness from the coffee perfectly pairs with the sweet and creamy banana and the sweet crunch of the chocolate drizzle on top. If you like coffee this is a must try!
Ingredients
250g frozen banana
20g vegan vanilla protein
a double shot brewed espresso
Toppings 20g dark/semi sweet vegan chocolate
½ banana
Method: Brew your espresso and let it chill for a bit (you don’t want a warm smoothie bowl now do you). Add to a blender with the rest of your ingredients. Blend until smooth. Slice the banana and some slices to the bowl, melt the chocolate and drizzle on top and enjoy!
