I love a good crumble. It's such an easy dessert to make and it never fails to satisfy my dessert cravings! This red berry crumble combines both raspberries and strawberries for a sweet, tangy and refreshing treat that is just perfect as an afternoon snack or post dinner dessert. I hope you give this one a go and love it as much as I did!
Filling:
400g frozen raspberries
350g frozen strawberries
70g sugar
1tbsp cornstarch
Crumble top
100g oats
185g flour
140g granulated sugar
140g dairy free butter
a pinch of salt
Method:
Add all ingredients for the filling in a bowl and toss together until the berries are evenly coated in the cornstarch and sugar. Add to an oven safe baking dish. Mix all ingredients for the crumble topping in another bowl and sprinkle on top of the berry mixture. Bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes. Leave to cool before serving with whichever toppings you want. Vegan whipped cream, custard or ice cream all work well here!
