I don't know about you, but in my opinion peanut butter goes with practically everything. Acai bowls are always better with some creamy nut butter in my opinion, both on top and when blended into the smoothie bowl itself! This peanut butter acai bowl is creamy, refreshing and sweet. Perfect for summer, and super easy to make. Give it a go and let me know what you think!
Ingredients (makes 1 bowl):
190g frozen banana
40g frozen blueberries
100g frozen açaí (1 packet of standard frozen açaí)
40g frozen raspberries
60g frozen mango
20g vegan peanut/vanilla protein powder (I used Macro Mike)
25g peanut butter
Toppings:
Peanut butter
Granola
Banana
Fresh berries
Method: Add all ingredients except the toppings to a high speed blender or food processor and mix until super smooth. Add to a bowl and top with more peanut butter, granola, sliced banana and any fresh berries you might like. Enjoy!
