I've seen variations of these in stores and finally ended up purchasing one while I was at the airport in Sydney waiting for my plane. It was totally delicious but I also realised I could easily make something even better at home. So here you go, an elevated version of your regular store bought pb stuffed bliss balls! I used a ridiculous amount of different proteins in this recipe and obviously not many of you are going to have all of these on hand, so feel free to swap them out with whatever you have at home, just note that the flavour will of course be slightly different so you might need to modify it a bit and add extra sweetener/salt etc.
Ingredients: 50g cashews
100g dates (soak before blending)
1tbsp (6g) cocoa powder
15g My Health Addiction vegan chocolate protein
15g White Wolf vegan salted caramel protein
a pinch of salt
20g almond meal Peanut filling:
80g peanut butter
30g macro mike pb cheesecake protein
Add the peanut filling ingredients to a bowl and stir to combine. Add your cashews to a food processor and blitz until finely chopped. All other ingredients (except the peanut filling) and blend until smooth. Roll your peanut filling into little balls. Flatten small portions of the date mixture in the palm of your hand, add the peanut filling to the middle of your date mixture and wrap it around to seal. Roll it around in your hands a few times to smooth out the cracks. Repeat until you've used up all of one of the mixtures, then snack on the rest ;) (or if you're a total pro you might be able to distribute it evenly and not have leftovers).
