Mocha Oatmeal Bowl

This super creamy bowl of oats is perfect for those cold winter mornings that I know a lot of my friends in the northern hemisphere are experiencing right now (and I will soo too when I go overseas for Christmas). I cannot think of a better way to kick off your day than this. It only takes a few minutes to make so it's great even on busy days, however I do recommend taking your time to fully enjoy the experience of eating this breakfast bowl..


Ingredients 40g quick oats

1tbsp cocoa powder

a pinch of salt

30g mashed banana

10g vegan coffee flavoured protein powder (I used White Wolf Nutrition Iced Coffee)*

200g plant milk of choice


*can sub for 1 shot of espresso/strong brewed coffee and some sweetener of choice

Simply throw it all in a pot, bring to a simmer and cook for a few minutes until it reaches your desired consistency! I topped mine with some berries, coconut yoghurt, chunks of espresso dark chocolate and some granola but feel free to add whatever you want.
