My new summer obsession is this iced vegan mocha with cold foam on top. I'm fully obsessed and probably have one on average every day (at least when the weather's nice). Like most coffee drinks the amount of milk and ice will depend on the glass you're using, so this recipe doesn't operate with exact measurements so much as a general guide as to how to make this drink. Either way I hope you love it and make this heaps throughout the warmer months!
Ingredients:
1 double shot espresso
Ice cubes
Oat milk (I used the Oatly Barista milk)
Chocolate sauce
2-3tsp chocolate syrup (can sub for chocolate sauce) 1 portion of my vegan cold foam
Method:
Pull your shot of espresso and add in a couple teaspoons of chocolate syrup or sauce. Stir until fully combined. Drizzle chocolate sauce on the inside of your glass (you want to use a thick sauce here so it sticks to the walls of the glass rather than gather at the bottom). Add ice and oat milk until you' ve filled the glass about 2/3-3/4 full. Pour the coffee/chocolate mixture on top, then top it all off with the cold foam. Enjoy!
