Cinnamon Roll Porridge

This recipe right here is my ultimate cozy, comforting breakfast. Nothing feels better than digging into a bowl of warming and nourishing oats that also taste like a cinnamon roll in my opinion. Not to mention it's super easy and quick to make! If you feel like you need an extra pick me up in the morning, please give this one a go and let me know what you think.

Ingredients:

40g quick oats

200g plant milk 1tsp cardamom

40g mashed banana

10g vegan vanilla protein powder (or sub for 1/2tsp vanilla extract and 1tsp maple syrup)

Toppings:

1tsp cinnamon

1.5tsp brown sugar

berries and nut butter


Method: Add all ingredients to a pot and simmer for around 5 minutes until thickened. Add to a bowl and sprinkle on the cinnamon and brown sugar. Use a spoon to swirl it in to the porridge. Top with berries, nut butter and any other toppings of choice. Enjoy!
