If you know me you know I lovee almond and cashew butter, well any kind of nut butter really - and this one is one of my favourites to make at home! It's lightly salted and seasoned with cardamom and cinnamon for a cinnamon-roll esque flavour. It's great for snacking or putting on top of oats or smoothie bowls.
Ingredients
125g almonds
125g cashews
1/2tsp cardamom
1/2tsp cinnamon
a pinch of salt
Method:
Spread the almonds and cashews onto a tray lined with parchment paper and roast for 7 mins at 180 degrees C. Let them cool for a few minutes and toss the nuts into a high speed blender. Blend until it is completely smooth and transfer to an airtight container. Enjoy!
