I love oatmeal for so many different reasons, and one of the biggest reasons is how easy it is to make, I mean this recipe is literally two sentences, it doesn't get simpler than that! If you want to see a tutorial on how I decorated this bowl then head over to my Instagram account @mealsbymiri as I posted a reel of me plating up this dish over there. Chunky monkey isn't a flavour I go with very often but when I do it certainly does not disappoint! You can easily skip the maple and use a caramel/fudge sauce to stay even more true to the original flavour combo, but for simplicity's sake I figured I'd use maple in this one so it would be easier for you all to recreate it. Either way this is one damn tasty breakfast.

Ingredients
40g oats
200g soy milk
50g mashed banana
10g maple
pinch of salt Toppings a drizzle of maple syrup
sliced banana
chopped and toasted walnuts
chopped chocolate
Add all ingredients for the oatmeal into a pot and simmer until thickened. Add to a bowl and add your toppings. Enjoy!
