After the hype around Biscoff spread/cookie butter took off in 2019/2020 or so I reckon we can now safely say it is a flavour trend that's most definitely here to stay. Since I have to order mine online here in Norway I haven't actually made that many Biscoff flavoured recipes since I moved back from Australia in 2021, but here I am back with another one that is just so dang delicious! Definitely worth a shot if you have some cookie butter at hand next time you're making a smoothie. Also I should mention this is not at all sponsored by Lotus Biscoff, I'm just a fan haha.
Ingredients
250g frozen banana
a splash of milk
20g vegan chocolate protein powder
Toppings:
1 heaped tbsp Biscoff spread
1 crushed Biscoff cookie
fresh blueberries
Method:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a jar/glass. Melt 1 tablespoon Biscoff spread in the microwave and pour on top of the smoothie. Add the crushed cookie and some fresh blueberries and dig in!
