This parfait is a delicious combo of two winter classics; oats and caramelised warm apple chunks. I definitely recommend this recipe for those who live in colder climates, and those who love apple pie!
Ingredients Baked apples:
1 apple
0,5 tbsp butter
0,5 tsp cinnamon
A pinch salt
0,5 tbsp sugar
0,5 tbsp brown sugar Oats: 40g quick oats
40g banana
20g vegan salted caramel protein
200g soy milk (I prefer using a sweetened one but you do you)
Extra: Vegan Caramel sauce of choice, or some maple syrup Method:
Mash your banana and add to a pot along with all the other ingredients. Simmer on low-medium heat until it reaches your desired consistency.
While the oats are cooking, chop your apple into cubes and add to a pan with the rest of the ingredients for the apple topping. Cook on medium heat until the apples are tender and golden brown.
